The Rehabilitation Council of Texas (Council) is federally mandated by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended in 1992, and advises the Texas Workforce Commission on the policy, scope and effectiveness of vocational rehabilitation services.
The Council wants to hear from the citizens of Texas about your experiences with vocational rehabilitation services, recommendations for improvements, and whether you would like a Council member to attend a local group or organizational meeting relating to vocational rehabilitation issues.
Partner with the Texas Workforce Commission to advocate for Texans with disabilities in the vocational rehabilitation process.
The 15-member Rehabilitation Council of Texas meets at least quarterly to work with TWC Vocational Rehabilitation Services programs to develop, agree to and review state goals and priorities.
