Overview
The Business Enterprises of Texas Elected Committee of Managers (Committee) is federally mandated by the Randolph-Sheppard Act, as amended in 1974. The Committee’s members represent Texans who are blind who have been licensed as food service managers by the federally-sponsored, state-administered Business Enterprises of Texas (BET) program. Committee members advise program administrators on changes to the program and work to increase food service management opportunities for Texans who are blind.
