The Lone Star Workforce of the Future Fund Advisory Board meets at least twice each calendar year, or as needed, to assist the commission in administering this program. The Board is presided over by the Chair of TWC and includes education and workforce stakeholders appointed by:
- The Texas Governor
- The Texas Lieutenant Governor
- The Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives
- The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board
- The Texas Workforce Commission
Appointees serve two-year terms. The Chair of TWC holds a statutory appointment.
