Texas Workforce Commission Rules and Rulemaking

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) provides the public access to current, proposed, and adopted rules related to Title 40, Part 20 of the Texas Administrative Code. The agency also conducts regular rule reviews as required by state statute and maintains an archive of rule documents dating back to 1996. The public can participate in the rulemaking process by commenting on proposed rules, petitioning for rulemaking, and staying informed through email notifications.

Rule Reviews

Statute requires state agencies to review their rules every four years to determine whether the reasons for initially adopting each rule continues to exist.
